Credits and your monthly allowance

What counts

  • Premium AI models (the most capable ones) use words from your monthly allowance as they write.
  • Fast AI models are there for everyday tasks such as quick answers, short rewrites and brainstorming.
  • Images, voiceover and speech to text each have their own monthly amount.

You choose the model in each chat and document, so you decide when to use the premium models.

See what you have left

  • Your dashboard shows Your usage this month, with one bar for each type of credit.
  • Or click View Your Credits at the bottom of the sidebar.

A bar turns amber when you have used most of it and red with Limit reached when it is used up.

When it resets

Your allowance refills every month — on the monthly plan and on the yearly plan. The dashboard shows the date as Credits reset on …. Unused credits do not carry over to the next month.

Ran out before the reset?

Switch to a fast model for everyday tasks — they are there for exactly that. If something still looks wrong, see I get "You have no credits left".
